SICK TIME
Q. How much sick time am I entitled as a new hire?
A. Upon Completion of one (1) year of continuous service, a total in the following year of five (5) days pay. (From anniversary date to anniversary date.)

Upon Completion of two (2) years of continuous service, a total in the following year of seven and one-half (7 1/2) daysí pay. (From anniversary date to anniversary date.)

Completion of three (3) years of continuous service, a total in the following year of ten (10) days pay.

During the transition period from service year to calendar year an employee will receive the equivalent of one (1) day per month, or fraction thereof. (This is from your anniversary date to end of calendar year.) Example: If an employee starts service May 15, 2006. May 15, 2007 you would receive five (5) days pay of sick time. May 15, 2008 receive seven and one-half (7 1/2) days sick pay. May 15, 2009 receive one day of sick time per month to the end of year, which equates to seven (7) days. (No more than ten (10) days allowed per year) January 1 of each year thereafter you will receive ten (10) sick days with pay. Days not used may be accumulated.

VACATION
Q. How many years do I have to work to earn vacation?
A. Five (5) days vacation to employees who render compensated service of one hundred-
Ten (10) days vacation for employees who render compensated service of one hundred-ten (110) days during the preceding year and have two (2) or more years of consecutive service.

Fifteen days vacation for employees who render compensated service of one hundred (100) days during the preceding year and have eight (8) or more years of consecutive service.

Twenty days vacation for employees who render compensated service of one hundred (100) days during the preceding year and have seventeen (17) or more years of consecutive service.

Twenty-five days vacation for employees who render compensated service of one hundred (100) days during the preceding year and have twenty-five (25) or more years of consecutive service.

SENIORITY DATE
Sequence of Seniority Dates for employees hired on the same date is determined by using the last four (4) digits of Social Security number.

PROBATION PERIOD
New employees are on probation for sixty (60) days. At that time you will be sent by U. S. Mail forms and papers to fill out to join the Union. Any questions or assistance with any of these forms contact your Union Representative.
